Darrie currently serves as the Director of Rehabilitation at Advanced Medical Therapy, where he specializes in providing orthopedics and sports physical therapy. He graduated from New York University physical therapy program in 1993. After graduation he worked at Montefiore Hospital in New York, where he specialized in neurology with an emphasis towards spinal cord injuries and cerebral vascular accidents.In 1995, he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and went into private practice opening his own company specializing in outpatient orthopedics and aquatic physical therapy known as Oasis Rehabilitation Centers. During his twenty-three years as a physical therapist, Darrie has had extensive experience in the field of orthopedic rehabilitation and provides a “hands on” or “manual” approach when treating his patients.Darrie treats musculoskeletal pain of the spine and extremities with various advanced treatment methods that utilize muscle energy, joint and neural mobilization, strain-counter strain as well as specific muscular releases and stretches. Darrie has also developed his own examination and treatment methods for spinal disorders that have shown to be effective with the diagnosis and treatment of back pain. Darrie has lectured on manual therapy topics at various clinics and organizations in the Phoenix metropolitan area. In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, cooking, working out, spending time with his family and reading detective Novels.
